First time in ages it was raining when I got up. So had to really think how to pack up keeping things as dry as possible.

Felt quite comfortable in full waterproofs. As usual, with waterproofs on it stopped raining. However, it was needed for the steep, narrow, overgrown path. Being very careful, I got to the coastal path safely.

I was mesmerized by St Michael Mount. As I got closer and sky got blue, I could see more details and the village.

There was a lot of road walking and with the wind against me felt quite tired. Confused as I had slept well and it was an easy day. Put my music on and the spring came back to my step, I had my walking rhythm.

Penzance grew in beauty as I got closer. Used Wetherspoons to absorb time until the Youth Hostel opens at 5.
