After 22miles, and the Youth Hostel only cost£10 a night, I have taken the day off relax in Eastbourne, in preparation for a 25 miles walk to Brighton on Thursday.

sounds like you are making very good progress. Thursday weather for Eastbourne looks reasonable, some light showers but also some good sunshine. Is it possible to reach Portsmouth at some time over the weekend.

No problems, my legs are saying slow down. Am planning to have 2 nights in Portsmouth. Get the train from Havant. But not sure the day yet. Also price of accommodation.
