The tent was wet when I decamped so extra weight. The ground was sodden but the ground sheet held up again. Out at 9. Entering Clevedon, an ASDA for Mars bars and deodorant, in case I found a cafe. Clevedon was gentle slope up but long. Good exercise. Stopped to photo Joanne's landing spot when she swam the Bristol Channel. After my first Mars bars stop joined the coastal path. Not well signed posted. It was horrible, high bramble both sides, no view of the sea, and the path narrow and slippery. At Charlcome bay I heard a stream but it was very overgrown. Carefully climbed down to the beach. Still no flowing water. Gave up.But Just at the top of the cliff a view point and flat area. Time was 1.30. Left my sack and back to back to the beach and dug through the bramble and scoped out the water with are cup to fill the bag. Job done I aired the tent at 4 set up the tent. I really enjoyed staying there all day. Only 7 miles so total now is 1183.
