On this open plan campsite the flat bit of ground was quite a way from the toilet block.Unusally I did not need to go over night. When packing the tent I noticed the other campers were German. When leaving I could have taken a short cut but didn't know. The track took me to the Bull Point lighthouse. A residential building was there.I thought all lighthouses were automatic.

Comming out of Lee Bay, l met a local in his garden. Reminded me of Mort. We spoke about the staycation, people were offering him£50 to camp in his back garden. He was amazed the campsite only charged £7. Other let's were pricing themselves out of the market. On the common read a notice and nearly stepped into a cow pat. A local was telling me about the dear that move around at night. In Ilfracombe restocked in the co-op, then hunted down the Weatherspoons. A purpose built, while charging the phone enjoyed the meal. A couple of locals chatted, not sure how much work they will do that afternoon. Like Woolacombe, I had trouble finding the coastal path. Again I felt tired when I found the Little Meadow campsite.note on reception was to call in the farm house. This was a really steep hill. At the top the manager gave me a lift back to the reception. Cost was £4. I camped with a good view of Wales. 6.6 miles, Little Meadow campsite 552480. Project total 1064 miles
